I grew up in many parts of India, a veteran of 12 schools! I am a management grad from IIM Bangalore and an alumnus of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Early on in my corporate career, I decided to switch to something more fulfilling and moved to the social sector. I have run the CSR operations for a large Indian tech company, worked in a social enterprise empowering artisans from all over the country, and my last stint was as Executive Director in a philanthropic organization based out of Bangalore. I serve on a non-profit Board. Contributing to making people’s lives better is my passion. I love to read, write, and travel. I am particularly interested in reading history and historical fiction, am an avid blogger, foodie and culture vulture. and consider myself a global citizen of Indian origin.

I am Premsai Samonotoray. I belong to Sambalpur, a small town located in western Odisha. After completing my Bachelors in Science, I decided to pursue MBA. So I decided to move to Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha, and started taking coaching for MBA. During this preparation year, I lost my elder brother in an accident. Due to this heavy loss in my family, I could not continue to pursue my MBA, despite of cracking couple of entrance examination from reputed MBA Colleges. My parents decided to stay with me in Bhubaneswar for a change from this mishap.

My passion always was to work in people management and training. At the same time, I also had a great affinity towards learning and practicing yoga then.

We can’t escape the sweltering summer but let’s not sweat about summer vacation. All kids look forward to their summer vacation, and summer vacations are tough for the parents. With temperature soaring high outside as well inside the home!! Kids getting bored at home …Watching TV endlessly…Fighting big time…Troubling grandparents or care taker etc. The list goes on and on. Parents are busy at either home or work.

How do parents navigate these tough tides and ensure that they swim well at both home and office. Small things make a World of difference.
